Conceived in 1996 by Patrícia Heiderich and Helena Werneck, mothers of Tathiana Piancastelli Heiderich and Paula Werneck, the MetaSocial Institute was founded in 2004 with the aim of overcoming the resistance faced by people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities in society. The MetaSocial Institute began sharing information and demystifying pre-established concepts through advertising campaigns created free of charges by icons in the advertising world, supported by important media outlets. The strength of the slogan "Being Different is Normal" is one of the pillars of this approach, which brings a positive, joyful, and colorful vision of the potential of all individuals, regardless of their limitations.

This exhibition was held at the Museum of Inclusion in Latin America, in São Paulo, and brought an innovative concept: 50% of the photographic works were replicated in a tactile form, providing access to art for visually impaired people. This exhibition is not just about Nila Costa, Alice, or Tathi, the founder of the MetaSocial Institute who has Down syndrome. It's about love, clarity of identity, faith, breaking limits and beliefs, past, present, and future.
